Thank you for taking an interest in our school.  Shipston Primary is a popular, friendly school with well behaved, happy pupils and happy staff.  It is set in extensive grounds with lots of room to play and learn.

High quality teaching and learning enables children to achieve well and develop skills that they will be able to transfer across a wide range of contexts long after they leave us, into higher education and beyond.  We teach our pupils how to learn so that they are able to become highly motivated, resilient and ready to tackle challenges – academic and personal.   We aim for our children to leave Shipston able to be the best, most successful people they can be.

At Shipston, we pride ourselves on having a broad and balanced curriculum that provides opportunities for all children's talents, skills and interests to be identified and nurtured. We offer a Breakfast Club and families can take advantage of SPLASH, our after school care, daily.  We also offer a wide range of after school clubs and participate in many sporting competitions (both within school and against other local schools) and music events such as Young Voices and being part of Shipston Proms every year.

Our pupils know that the most important thing in the world is to be kind and this is commented upon by visitors to our school who talk about their manners and the evident strong relationships rooted in respect. Our values are summed up in our 3 Be's: Be Kind; Be Responsible; Be Ready. We are fortunate to have a very supportive community and value the partnership between home and school.
